No matter how good your general exercise regime or abs workout is, at the end of the day gaining a tighter looking midsection relies on losing belly fat.  In order to lose fat from your belly, you must eat less calories that what you burn up in a day so that you can tap in to your stored body fat (belly fat!) for fuel.  Only then will you learn how to get tighter abs.

2)  Discipline will get you across the line.
